Nusantara Cultural Exhibition, Bandung 2012

Department of Tourism and Culture (Disparbud) West Java Province will hold event "Kemilau  Nusantara 2012" with themed "Sparkling Nusantara Culture". They are the exhibition activities, and photo contest that will be held October, 5-7 2012

This event will showcase the rich art and culture of the various provinces in Indonesia, plus the appearance of art and culture from 26 cities / districts of West Java. It will be dance, music, theater, typical clothing. This is a rare Opportunity because it only held once a year. Moreover, the show presented not only Sundanese culture, but all Indonesia, even some stand came from abroad.

This event will also display a variety of excellent products, culinary, crafts, tourism information, and a photo contest with the objects that exist in "Kemilau Nusantara" event. The organizer is expected to provide wholesome entertainment, educational, and cultural value to the community in order to appreciate and understand cultural heritage, and recognize the potential arts and culture in Indonesia.

As the plan, the mat shows "Kemilau Nusantara 2012" will be held from 6 am on Saturday October 2012. The exhibition is organized around the areas of the Dipenogoro Street, Gedung Sate in Bandung, on 5-7 October 2012. While the photo contest held on October 6, 2012 from morning till night.

On the implementation last year, in provincial level, the first prize was taken by East Java, then Papua won second place, and West Java became the third champion. At level of the city / county,  first prize's captured by Purwakarta district, followed Bogor and Kab.Tasikmalaya  as the third.

The best exhibition/stand of districts/cities level in West Java was achieved by Cirebon city  (first), Bogor (second place), Cirebon regency (third place). Best exhibition/stand in province level won by East Kalimantan (best first), South East Sulawesi (second Place) and Central Kalimantan (third place)
