Folk About Cilok/Bastus/Bakso

Dari dulu sampai sekarang (2012), jajanan yang satu ini tetap eksis nggak kalah sama makanan impor atau junk/fast food. Malah di beberapa tempat, cilok atau "aci dicolok" in Sundanese (means "aci : tepung kanji/tapioka; dicolok : ditusuk" in Bahasa) sudah banyak variasinya, seperti cilok isi sosis, ayam, keju, daging sapi. Cilok atau bastus (Baso Tusuk) merupakan jajanan yang cukup disukai anak-anak bahkan orang dewasa. Biasanya cilok terbuat dari tepung aci/kanji yang dicampur berbagai bumbu dan diisi dengan lemak kambing/sapi (called gajih in Sundanese)

*Punten, bukannya sok pake Bahasa Inggris, tapi saya lagi belajar writing in English :) Sambil menyelam minum air, sambil ngeblog belajar Bahasa Inggris.

During elementary school, cilok become a main snack for many children. Understandably, cilok was new and became very popular because of tasty flavor and cheaper than regular meatball soup at that time. I still remember, when We take a break,  the children scramble a plastic bowl, just to buy the balls for Rp200, -. Although it shouldn't  guarantee nutritious (because of the use of flavoring chemicals), This snacks are still selling well.

Moving SMP or Junior High School,  cilok've encountered quite a lot. If the first, cilok was made ​​from fish meat, now it has variation cilok of beef, but beef KW 9 # what!

Since it was experiencing inflation, its prices rose as well as other essential ingredients's price.

In Senior high school, cilok already have their own brand, just have a special name, but I forgot hehe. Since I often buy cilok at the break, my friends called me 'king cilok'.
